Group Description

This working group discuss the physics that needs to be implemented in the JETSCAPE framework, namely jet energy loss, medium response, and so on. Group members also take in charge of using the JETSCAPE instrument to study jet observables measured in the RHIC and LHC heavy-ion collisions.

Group Main Tasks

  • Perform jet energy loss calculations for the AuAu and PbPb collisions with generated event-by-event hydro medium
  • Study jet-medium excitations with causal energy-momentum source terms
  • Recombination Model — A hybrid hadronization scheme
  • Dynamical modeling of nuclear collisions at the RHIC Beam Energy Scan Program
  • Flow and non-flow in small collision systems
  • Jet modifications in electron-ion collisions
  • Heavy-quark energy loss
  • Jet energy loss at NLO
